What are the steps to get over a breakup?

Well, they are surprisingly similar to the steps for saving your relationship.

And they all revolve around YOU rather than any other person you have a relationship with.

1. YOU have got to treat yourself well and stop that nagging negative voice in your head that will get on a nasty loop if you listen to it.  Tell it to “shut up”… really,…out loud if you need to.

Every time you hear that negative voice in your mind, tell it to quit and immediately focus on what’s happening around you now, not the past that you can’t change and not the future that you can’t predict.

2. Be positive. Choose to be happy rather than choosing to be miserable or angry or frustrated.  They are all just emotions and you can choose with conscious practice.

3. Get on with your life and take an interest in your world.

3 simple things.  Not easy to start with, but do a bit of practice and you’ll feel heaps better.
